What
are the advantages of pitching with Snippies?
Shoot tomorrow — is it really that fast?
We have an in-house production department. Why
use Snippies?
We're in pitch hell. How much of our time will
this take us?
Can you shoot and we edit?
Can the video be branded with our name?
How does pitch exclusivity work?
How does agency confidentiality work?
How do we get started?
What
are the advantages of pitching with Snippies?
You’ll demonstrate
to your prospect that you’ve put consumers front and center,
that you have a national perspective, and that you are committed
to this pitch and this account. Consumers are the only pitch element
your prospect cannot afford to ignore.
Shoot
tomorrow – is it really that fast?
Well, yes and no. In most circumstances we can
and do shoot tomorrow, even today. However, narrow demographics
take more time. And if you must have specific geographic markets
(Boston, Houston and Seattle, for example), instead of broad geographic
representation (one city from the East, one from the
mid-section, one from the West, for example), it could take longer.
We
have an in-house production department. Why use Snippies?
Large agencies find we’re quicker, more efficient and more
geographically diverse than their in-house departments. Plus we’re
often cheaper than doing it in house (we don’t understand
that either, but that’s
what we’re told). Most importantly: we’re better.
This is our specialty.
We’re
in pitch hell. How much time and attention will this video take
us?
We see our job in part as freeing you to focus on strategy and
overall pitch presentation. Simply call us
with your particulars and demographic. We’ll swiftly prepare
a fee proposal – once approved, we can take
it from there. We’ll stream a rough cut to your desktop
for review. And we’ll work through a thousand
logistical hurdles without you being aware. The final will come
to you by FedEx on CD or DVD; in five
minutes – literally – it can be married to your presentation.
Can
you shoot and we edit?
Yes. We can deliver the unedited footage or we can choose and
deliver “selects” (the best ten minutes
of footage, for example, rather than the five hours we shot –
a huge time saver on your end). Most clients, however, prefer
that our experienced editors craft the video. They’re darn
good at it, too.
Can
the video be branded with our agency name?
Most agencies request no branding on their pitch videos; some
prefer adding their agency logo at the beginning, the end or as
part of title screens and lower thirds. Some ask to put the Snippies’
name on
it since Snippies has a national reputation for consumer interviewing.
It’s up to you.
How
does pitch exclusivity work?
We’re involved with just one agency on any given pitch.
Because of this rule, we end up turning away
clients more often than we’d like – so please contact
us early. For pitches far on the horizon, we offer
a retainer agreement, with the retainer cost applicable to the
video later produced. We do not disclose
who has contracted us, or even that we’ve been contracted
– if another agency contacts us about the
same pitch, we simply say a conflict doesn’t allow us to
take on this project. One exception to our pitch exclusivity policy:
if we’re working with an agency that gets eliminated in
an early round (and we hate
it when that happens), we may work for a different agency in a
later round (we’ll let the new agency know
we worked for another, unnamed agency earlier on).
How
does agency confidentiality work?
We understand the utmost importance of confidentiality. We do
not discuss our dealings with you with any other agency. Our video
journalists often work “blind”, i.e. they don’t
know what product is being pitched (unless the questionnaire makes
it obvious, which sometimes is necessary), and in most circumstances
they do not know what agency Snippies is working for. Our producers
and editors continually take measures to insure confidentiality
throughout the pitch. It has never been breached.
How
do we get started?
Call or email us with the
particulars of your project and we’ll quickly prepare a
no-hassle,
no-obligation proposal.
