How do we get started?

We have an A/V company for our event. Do we still need Snippies?
A/V companies provide media execution during the event, plus sometimes “gavel-to-gavel” recordings of the official festivities. Snippies documents the participant experience and the impact the event makes on them. You need both.

What are the major advantages of Snippies’ event coverage?
Speed, location, cost and power. We can often shoot tomorrow – even today – in more than 65 markets around the globe, without travel costs. Our video journalists know how to capture the images and obtain the participant quotes that will dramatize the event in a recap video – an event documentary.

Is Snippies’ event coverage turn-key?
Snippies’ producers handle all logistics. Our video crews capture the event. Our editors craft a snappy recap video. Our graphic artists craft web pages and html emails, offering attractive interfaces to access the videos.

What’s in it for sponsors?
Throughout the event documentary, sponsors view the event execution – signage, activities, excitement and more. They hear directly from participants’ mouths that their message got through (and their money was well spent). Sponsors with multiple offices can each access the event documentary from the web.

Do we need to supervise Snippies’ video journalist at the shoot?
No. If you will not be present at the shoot, be sure to give the video journalist instructions about what kind of shots you’re hoping to get, your objectives for the video, and if there are particular individuals the video journalist should interview. If you are present, you can choose to work closely with the video journalist or just give marching orders and let him or her go.

Can Snippies shoot and we edit?
Yes. Snippies can either: 1) cover the event and hand you the tape right there; or 2) provide you with “selects,” which greatly speed your edit process; or 3) edit it ourselves (most clients prefer this option and we’re darn good at it).

Can the videos be branded with our company’s name, not Snippies?
Yes, Snippies can be invisible. However, Snippies has an excellent reputation for event video coverage; some clients choose to put Snippies’ name on the work in addition to their own.
